Say, I like this blog. Contains all the essential elements to make my day: tags, nice layout, regular updates, multiple editors, …
insideTonic was started in the early days of 2007 as a place to open up the discussion about software and its impact on our daily lives. Sitting on top of Softonic, an archive of over 55,000 free and commercial applications, insideTonic offers original, expert writing covering software news, reviews, help, advice and tips.
The same editors who have reviewed thousands of applications and who scour the net to keep Softonic up-to-date, bring their experience to a new format that allows for a broader discussion surrounding the central idea that software is an essential part of our daily lives.

“What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, men would die from a great loneliness of spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected.” - Chief Seattle

Film 1000 films | Features | Guardian Unlimited Film
Britain’s Guardian newspaper is publishing this week a list of 1000 films they recommend to watch ‘before you die’.
Like any other list of this kind (thousands of them in cyberspace), you’ve got to bear in mind 2 things:
1. You may or may not like the items on the list
2. This is an opportunity to discover new things
It is precisely for point no. 2 that I enjoy these lists. Sure, a number of movies on that list are very questionable but at the end of the day it is a matter of opinion.

flickrvision beta
flickrvision lets you watch users uploading photos live. The map view shows where the user is uploading from and a small snapshot of the photo is displayed over the location. Clicking on the photo reveals a larger version in the center of the screen while map continues to update in the background. Clicking on a user name takes you to the users profile on flickr.
There is something so strange, so voyeuristic and so addictive about this tool…
