Long before Star Wars and my discovery of Arthur C Clarke, there were those Friday nights… Sci-fi movies on TV where I found such gems like The Day the Earth Stood Still, the iconic Forbidden Planet, Tarkovsky’s Solaris and many more features which ignited my passion for the genre.

Nowdays, with space operas long gone and the rise of CGI-fuelled ventures, I have had less time to devot to this childhood passion.

Thanks to this site, I can go back to memory lane and even re-discover treasures from the silver screen, television and litterature…
