PC World - 101 Fantastic Freebies
Wonderful…I do love PC World’s annual round-up of the best freeware in cyberspace…There are always one or two programs which have escaped my radar.
The categories presented is comprehensive, ranging from System Utilities, Communications, File Sharing, File Management, Productivity, Music, Photos, Video and many more.
I have not had time to digest it all as my daily schedule is so busy these days…Would love to have comments/feedback on the freeware reviews.

I know linkfilter.net very well and of course the famous StumbleUpon.com. However, there are some I never heard of and are definetely worth a visit.

I haven’t had opportunity to use this site much but if it works as advertised it is a fantastic tool. Zamzar will convert between a large array of file formats including most of the image, video, sound, and word processing formats. Just select your file, the format you want it converted to, and enter your e-mail address; and the converted file is e-mailed to you.

Now, that is very handy, a combination of two of the most popular search engines on the web, Google and Yahoo.
I think this is a brillant idea, as the output delivers 2 panels of your seach results…Just love it!

Each documentary has a distinct web page (devoid of any ads, thank God!), beautifully crafted. The content of each is rich with pictures, interactive media and videos (check out the superb The Elegant Universe).
There is simply too much to take into one go…I am sure glad these kind of sites exist in Cyberspace…

The Etch-A-Sketchist
This site is devoted to the works of a talented Etch-A-Sketch artist. I had no idea people used this children’s toy to create such intricate art. This is the kind of stuff I pictured in my head as a kid when sitting down to use the Etch-A-Sketch; but unfortunately my attempts came out as undecipherable jagged lines. The artist goes by etchasketchist and must have incredible patience to go with his artistic talent. Most of his pieces are portraits of celebrities and TV/movie characters including Tony Montana, Martin Scorcese, LL Cool J, and Britney Spears.
