Badger Badger Badger
This site is entirely dedicated to a strangely hypnotic animation featuring some badgers, a mushroom, and a snake. Be warned, it will infest your mind with its repetitive music and simple 2-D animation.
It’s too late for me, the badgers now control my mind…my last act of free will is to warn you of this insidious web site in the hopes that you can avoid its nefarious clutches and save humanity…badger, badger, badger, badger, badger…

Boing Boing
Boing Boing is one of my favorite web sites on the entire internets. Originally a magazine this “directory of wonderful things” provides daily entertainment. The site has five editors/authors that post a wide array of links and information. Some of the stuff they come up with themselves, and some is submitted by the sites readers.
Some common themes include politics, Disneyland, cryptozoology, online communities & games, science, technology, media, civil liberties, DRM, censorship, privacy, and sex…but the most common topic is the uncommon with no real central theme to the site.
I LOVE me some Boing Boing.

Virus Total
Virus Total has a free service that allows you to upload any suspicious file to their server for scanning. It will detect whether the file is a virus using thirty different antivirus engines. You can use their web interface to upload the suspicious file, or email it them.
So next time you are not 100% sure of the safety of opening a file hop over to Virus Total and have them quickly scan it. If it passes Virus Total chances are the file is safe to open.

The Home Page of Randy Constan A.K.A. Peter Pan
Search for “Pet Pan” and you get this guys site. This is an internet classic (claiming over 9 million visitors) that I found years ago when a friend thoughtfully hacked my web site to redirect here. I promptly fixed my site and made this his browser home page. It’s that bad.
You’ll be amazed by the plethora of Peter Pan and other odd costumes this guy has hand made and posed in. Be sure to check out his signed flying pixie pictures, which can be yours for only $16.
